What: A collaborative project for teachers to create high quality interactive textbooks using iBooks Author. 

When: June 11 & 12 in Grand Rapids, June 18 & 19 in Metro Detroit. (Exact local coming)

Objective: Create digital textbook files under a Creative Common attribution non-commercial share-alike license so that other teachers can download, remix, and distribute interactive content to their students. 

Details of the event: The two day 'hackathon' is split up into 2 days for $30:
day 1- learning how to create content in iBA (morning)
           learning how to create widgets (afternoon)

day 2- whole group discussion on 'what is high quality interactive content'
           content area teams form, divy up work, and get hacking
